The Blumarine Baby Jeans collection is redolent of summer, romanticism and poetry. Typical nautical symbols, anchors and ship’s wheels, make an appearance in the winning combination of blue and white. The sweet balloon dress in intense blue jersey with the unmistakable “B” interwoven with Swarovski crystals coordinates with a fun stretch cotton print miniskirt, while “anchor motif” buttons adorn pants and sweaters. Printed cotton gauze lends freshness to the dress to be worn with the microstripe cardigan and pullover, while the T-shirt is embroidered with small pink stones. And hearts, the symbol of passion for all that is beautiful, including children, beat with new creativity in a theme that adopts the color red and states, with the words of Saint-Exupéry in “The Little Prince”, “The eyes are blind. One must look with the heart”. This is the inspiration for the nylon parka with broderie anglaise in the shape of a heart on the shoulder and the super-light tricot ballet sweater with cut-out hearts. The jacquard knit dress has a “heart” print, while for the deepest summer months, tiny hearts are printed on stretch cotton hot pants to be worn with fun tops: the T-shirt with a heart floating like a balloon and the writing “Une explosion d’amour” and the polo shirt with the tiny heart and small red buttons. Spring and summer also mean the fragrance of lilies of the valley. And a profusion of red lilies of the valley dot the lightweight, crinkled pinafore dresses and the stretch jersey dresses that coordinate with the knit twin sets with narrow stripes and buttons with satin micro-rosebuds. A special T-shirt is embroidered with the logo in dégradé sequins. New combinations of orange and yellow, easy pieces and innovative daywear solutions make room for an unusual pink and green animalier print for small proposals in terrycloth and printed broderie anglaise.

An exuberance of corollas and sweet colours are the fils rouge of the garments created for comfy elegant dressing in teensy sizes: bouquets of flowers twisted with bows, in shades of pink and blue are gently pressed onto muslins and organza fabrics and are coordinated with items in piquet and knits. For a touch of light? Appliqués of Swarovski crystals. Embroidered flower petals stand out on the T-shirts worn with skirts, dresses and trousers of silk, cotton and piquet decorated with borders of degradé prints. Silk shantung with tulle and lace bloom in small cyclamen flowers with embroidered borders, while viscose and silk knitwear is jazzed up with elegant plissé. Blumarine Baby also plays with the natural shades of linen gauze, muslins and cottons in a crescendo of intensity which sees the intervention of plumetis pastel pink united with white, plus, the pink of the roses printed on the Sangallo lace to be worn with pieces in white linen and patterned jersey with rose petal trims. Romantic hearts appear on georgette, cotton muslin and printed and embroidered sateen in a lovely shade of turquoise. Dedicated expressly to newborns, white and blue is condensed into an elegant yachting style with bows, cotton jersey, muslins and tulle. Pastel pink melds sweetly with plumetis to send messages of cuteness with muslin embellished with trims of flowers and pearls, embroidered hearts, flounces of tulle and crystal sequins. For special occasions shantung silk is tinted with hydrangea pink and is decorated with non-
trimmed flowers, applied like trims on fabrics which are also printed with summer snowflakes. Fabulous effects for white linen with micro sequins. Hearts? Not to be missed in red on impeccable embroidered piquet and on organza decorated with Swarovski crystals, but also in a turquoise variant which shades towards aquamarine. A special garment for kids who go to the seaside: a swimsuit dedicated to every theme.

MISS BLUMARINE JEANS

The unmistakable style of a label that expresses total femininity has combined with the practical appeal of proposals that dress up the day with self-assured aplomb. The Miss Blumarine Jeans season is inspired by the atmosphere of Bretagne in a combination of blue and white with touches of red. The short nylon jacket, the round-necked sailor sweater with tricolor bow, the pure white overshirt and the polo with jacquard logo embroidered on the collar are “must have” pieces, all to be worn with skinny blue denim jeans or the pleated skirt bordered in bicolor passementerie. In full summer, the theme is enhanced with cotton pants, honeycomb fabric dresses with jewel buttons and a cardigan decorated with a big red and blue bow. The allure of Provence explodes in tiny all-over flowers in white and red, which enliven shorts, shirts and the jacket that coordinates with blue linen palazzo pants and the miniskirt decorated with a big heart-shaped buckle, in red of course. A strong chromatic statement is made by the red leather bomber jacket and the white T-shirt featuring a stylized girl wearing a dress that is entirely made of red satin micro roses. An atmosphere of “déjeuner sur l’herbe” is reflected in the comfort of the chambray Bermuda shorts whose belt is made of sequins in optical designs, in the Vichy check Capri pants, the duster and sundress printed with flowers and cherries and the T-shirt decorated with appliquéd stones for a necklace effect. The summer explodes in an intertwining of fuchsia flowers and polka dots on a white background that personalizes the sleeveless jacket, the dress in printed broderie anglaise and the shorts with a satin and sequin belt. For a decidedly “glamour” look, the T-strap tank top has shoulder straps covered with silver sequins and is embroidered with a fun Catwoman. Last but not least, the animalier print, in a pop version in an unusual combination of yellow and pink with touches of turquoise; these same nuances are also featured in the accessories.

Where winter finishes spring opens up with a fragrance of wisteria, the generous flower of friendships which, with its abundant bunches, decorates the romantic catwalks of the Miss Blumarine children’s shows. Anna Molinari, in a play of colours and emotions, contrasts white, ivory and blue creating garments in cotton piquet and knits decorated with delicate trims, the same that decorates the headbands. Precious applications make variants of natural tones more beautiful, perfect for the first summer days and for voyages to the fascinating land of Africa: écru, ivory and white intersect and layer in combinations of tulle and pearls and linen gauze with pearls and sequins. Proposals which are light yet at the same time substantial, practical and chic when worn with a jute gauze hat. The atmosphere is always bon-ton and is shaded with nuances of pink and blue: the freshness of cotton and silk voile, the elegance of embroideries and lace and the glimmer of the sequins become the passe-partout for a style that is perfect for any latitudes. Just mention the word Sangallo and we have the sensation of swaying between memories and poems with tender white roses on yellow backgrounds to wrap with cardigans and sweaters in embossed cotton. Ideal solution for the summer en plein air? The total white of the airy sundresses in cotton muslin, Sangallo lace and linen decorated with stones covered with the same fabric.
