PLAYTIME NEW YORK

04.-06.08.2012

Report on the 5th edition of Playtime New York

90 international brands (2/3 of which were American) presented their Spring/Summer 2013 collections during this most recent summer edition of Playtime New York.

1,484 professional visitors (89,19% American) came to discover the unique value proposition of Playtime, which brings together all key sectors of the children’s universe: clothing, shoes, accessories, jewelry and decor/gifts.

The number of visitors compared to July 2011 increased by 13%.

By investing in a market with strong potential, Playtime New York is positioning itself as the can’t-miss trade show in the United States for children’s fashion. With its unique creative and commercial offer, it meets buyers’ demands and accompanies the sector’s evolution.

The concept of the Playtime trade fairs honors the process of creation through its carefully studied scenography in an exceptional, easily accessible space right in the heart of SoHo. A synergy and enthusiasm that stems from the stimulating and dynamic ambiance of the fair.

This season, the trend spaces proposed by Julie Malait around the theme of Dreams, and designed by three American artists, offered buyers a sneak peek at the main trends for Summer 2013.

The exhibits and activities proposed exclusively by Kid’s Wear and Vogue Bambini US offered the final touch to the extremely positive 5th edition.
